We had a great 4th of July this year. First we went to the annual 4th of July parade with our good friends, the Grovers and the Potters. Jeremy unfortunately got called into work just as the parade started, so he didn't get to stay, but the kids got lots of candy and enjoyed being with their friends. After the parade we went back to the house for lunch and then spent the evening at our neighbors for fireworks and a barbecue. It's fun being able to buy and set off fireworks. In AZ it's illegal, since it is so dry there. Here in Idaho though, we have a show every night, all month long, from all of the neighbors. Kolby just loves them. He wanted to set off fireworks this year for his birthday, but unfortunately we couldn't get any in March.

Looks like fun! The 4th seems to be much better in other states.
